We work for one of the biggest European retail market players providing applications and services serving millions of customers each and every day. Your work will primarily be the technical conception and development of backend services to support and ensure the data flow and integration between the services and the applications. Furthermore you will be responsible for:
· Conception and design of applications mainly developed in Java with Springboot and Gradle
· Implement access to 3rd party APIs
· Maintaining deployment pipelines on Gitlab
· Ensure the functionality of our services and applications running on Kubernetes
· At least 3 years of experience in JAVA software development
· Very good proficiency with technologies like Java (full stack), Oracle, PLSQL, REST API
· Experience in integrating with third-party tools to increase additional functionality
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
· Professional oral and written English skills, German skills would be good to have
· Nice to have but not mandatory: Azure, Hibernate, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Search or Solr, BDD/DDD/TDD, Springboot and Gradle
